Vaccination Requirement

Travelling from Kenya

All travellers arriving in India from Kenya are required to possess a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.

  • The Yellow Fever vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before travelto India.
  • The vaccination must be obtained from a government-approved medical clinic, institute, or hospital.
  • Travellers must carry their Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificatealong with their other immigration and travel documents.

Please note that Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) is not required for travel from Kenya to India.

Travelling from Somalia

All travellers arriving in India from Somalia are required to possess valid Yellow Fever as well as Oral Polio Vaccination (OPV) certificates.

  • The Yellow Fever vaccinemust be administered at least 10 days before travelto India.
  • The Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV)must be administered at least 4 weeks before travelto India.
  • Both vaccinations must be obtained from a government-approved medical clinic, institute, or hospital.
  • Travellers must carry both the Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificateand the Polio Vaccination Certificatealong with their other immigration and travel documents.

These requirements are mandatory in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India.
