For registration of birth of new born child of Indian nationals, following procedure/ documents are required :

2020. a. The parents of the new born are required to visit the High Commission personally after booking online appointment and filling the Miscellaneous Service form given at the link (Click here)
2021. b. Print out of Online birth registration form by visiting https://indiancitizenshiponline.nic.in/initial?formcode=09
      c. New born declaration form
      d. Parents passports (originals + photocopies (front & back bio pages) (2 each))
      e. Parents valid residence permits (Kenyan work permit/ dependents pass/ permanent residence) (2 copies)
      f. Parents marriage certificate (2 copies)
      g. Kenyan birth certificate (2 copies)
      h. Four photographs (2”x 2”)

2. Please note that registration of  birth of newborn child with Indian Mission is mandatory with in a period of one year from the date of birth.
