Not believe or fall in trap of any unscrupulous elements/agents/intermediaries who claims speedy/express grant of any consular services.

      It has been brought to the notice of this Mission that few individuals claims to be the agent of the High Commission of India, Nairobi and accepts cash/money from consular service seekers to process their applications. This is to confirm that the High Commission of India in Nairobi never engages the services of agents/intermediaries/unscrupulous elements for any consular services.

2.   All Passport/Visa/OCI and Miscellaneous Consular Service seekers are hereby advised NOT (repeat NOT) to engage the services of any person claiming to be agent of the High Commission of India. To avoid falling into the trap of such dubious people, all consular service seekers are advised to go through the website of the High Commission of India at www.hcinairobi.gov.in and apply online for the service they seek and book the online appointment by themselves. The applicant has to be present at the High Commission to submit his/her application.

3.   If any of the consular service seekers are approached by such self-proclaimed agents of the High Commission of India, Nairobi, they are requested to report the incident to this Mission (+254731900043 or email id cons.nairobi@mea.gov.in) by giving the details (Name, Contact Number, Passport Number, ID etc.) of the agent.
