Indian Coast Guard Ship Varaha visited Mombasa for a port call from 26 to 29 October 2026 as part of its overseas deployment.  This marks the third visit of an Indian navy / coast guard ship to Mombasa this year, following visits of INS Trikand and INS Tarkash.   The frequent port calls by Indian ships to Kenya is symbolic of the growing bilateral maritime partnership between India and Kenya and India’s vision of Mahasagar.

Indian Coast Guard Ship Varaha departed Mombasa on 29 October 2026 after concluding a successful three day port visit.  The port visit reinforced maritime cooperation and strengthened bonds of friendship between India and Kenya.
