The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, announces VAIBHAV Fellowship Call-2023. Applicants of Indian Diaspora (NRI/OCI/PIO) may apply. Closing date is 31 July 2023.
The VAIBHAV fellow will identify an Indian Institution for collaboration and may spend up to two months in a year for maximum three years.

Government of India earlier organized Vaishvik Bharatiya Vaigyanik (VAIBHAV) Summit to connect Indian Diaspora in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine(STEMM) with Indian Institutions. It was attended by 25,000 Indian STEMM diaspora from more than 70 countries, 230 panel discussions were held on 18 verticals of research areas, 80 horizontals in sub research areas.
To take a step further, VAIBHAV Fellowship Call-2023 was announced. The fellowship envisages a collaboration between scientists of Indian Diaspora (NRI/OCI/PIO) with Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), Universities and/ or public funded Scientific Institutions by sharing the Best Practices on research and translation of research, incubation etc., building long term connections, connecting Indian Students to the foreign faculty/scientists and new approaches to Research processes and futuristic technologies.
