Ambassador Suchitra Durai presented her credentials to the President of Eritrea

Ambassador Suchitra Durai visited the State of Eritrea from 19-23 February, 2016. She presented her credentials to H.E the President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki on 21 February, 2016. She also called on Foreign Minister H.E Osman Saleh, Agriculture Minister H.E ArefaineBerhe, Finance Minister H.E BerhaneHabtemariam, Minister for National Development Dr GiorgisTeklemikael and Minister for Marine Resources H.E TeweldeKelatiand held wide ranging discussions.

Ambassador Suchitra Durai also had an interaction with representatives of the Indian community in Eritrea on 21 February, 2016 and visited the Indian community school in Asmara on 19 February, 2016. A consular camp was also organised by the Mission at Asmara which was attended both by Indian nationals seeking consular services and Eritrean nationals seeking visas.
